- To dispute a traffic or parking citation, you may personally appear before a hearing officer at the Appeals Office (2021 JKB) between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, submit a written appeal (forms available at the Appeals Office), or Appeal online.
- Appeals must be made within 14 calendar days of the citation date. (Official BYU holidays for full-time employees are excluded, but semester breaks are not official BYU holidays.)
- If you disagree with the hearing officer's decision, you may submit a re-appeal of the citation in writing, or online by the penalty date listed on the payment slip given at the original appeal.
- The Review Committee may determine in its sole discretion whether or not to uphold the hearing officer’s decision. The decision of the Review Committee is final.
