Accident
The complainant reported that on December 31, 2024, he was in Lot 50 near Campus Floral when his sister parked her vehicle, a 2023 Toyota Corolla, in the parking lot. The vehicle sustained damage to the front and rear passenger side doors. It is unknown what caused the damage. The Dispatch Center searched the BYU surveillance camera system for relevant recordings but did not locate any. The complainant was informed of the case number and that no useful camera recordings were available.

Property Damage
On December 27, 2024, an officer was contacted by the complainant regarding damage sustained to several restrooms in the Joseph F. Smith Building. The officer gathered information from the complainant regarding the damage and estimated timeframe, which appears to have occurred between December 23 and December 27, 2024. Upon inspection, it was observed that multiple toilet seats were damaged. At this time, there are no identified suspects, and further investigation is necessary to determine the cause and extent of the damage.

Alarm
An officer was dispatched to the Music Building in response to a door alarm. Upon arrival, the Dispatch Center informed the officer that the alarm had cleared, so he cancelled any further response.

Citizen Contact
Officers responded to a residence in Heritage Halls Building 12 after a concerned resident reported unusual noises in the area. The officer met with the resident, checked the apartment, and patrolled the surrounding area for further investigation. The search revealed no evidence of any issues. This was the only complaint received by dispatch in that area that evening.
