Once the statement is received, the case will be forwarded to the Investigations Division for further follow-up.
Suspicious Circumstance While patrolling the main campus of Brigham Young University, an officer was flagged down by a female near Lot 59. She reported that a white male, dressed in all black, had been looking into cars before running away. The witness noted that the incident happened quickly, so she was unable to provide a detailed description of the suspect. Officers subsequently searched the surrounding parking lots, buildings, and neighborhoods but found no signs of break-ins or foul play. Ultimately, they were unable to locate the suspect and cleared the scene.
