Medical
An officer and BYU EMS responded to the Richards Building on a report of a student who dislocated his finger playing basketball. The patient was treated and released on scene by BYU EMS.

Welfare Check
Officers responded to the Harold B. Lee Library to assist a student who was having a mental health crisis and was hiding in the bushes. The student has a history on campus and has been working with the BYU Police Victim Advocate. The student stated they are not suicidal and were not having suicidal ideations. The student went with officers to get food and was given a ride home.

Theft Bike
An Officer was dispatched regarding a possible bike theft from the north side of the BYU Broadcast Building. The bike was taken sometime after 12/14/22. A suspect has been located on cameras in the area. This case has been referred to the Investigations Division for follow up.

Theft
Officers were dispatched to the BYU Bookstore-Cougar Tech on a possible internal theft. A customer purchased an Apple Watch that was not in the package when they got home. Information of possible time frame was lacking. Information has been referred to the investigations division.

Theft
The complainant requested phone contact regarding lost Apple Air Pod Pros and a wallet. The Air Pods were showing in the area of Heritage Halls, however they were not located. The victim canceled her credit cards. This case has been referred to the Investigations Division for follow up.

Criminal Mischief
Officers responded to HL Hinckley to the report of someone possibly throwing rocks at the dorm windows. Upon arrival, officers patrolled the area and were not able to locate any suspicious activity.

Suspicious
Officers responded to a suspicious call at the Harris Fine Arts Building. Upon arrival, officers patrolled the area for any suspicious activity and contacted a group of individuals that had entered the building through an open door. The suspects were cooperative, identified, and released at the scene. Officers contacted security personnel to ensure the building was locked. No further action taken.

Information
A suspicious vehicle was observed by an off-duty BYU Police Officer near Nunns Park in Provo Canyon. The vehicle was covered with snow and a rear window was down. The vehicle was not occupied and was not listed NCIC. An information report was started.

Theft
Officers were dispatched on a lost property complaint by phone. The caller had lost Apple Air Pods and they were showing in Provo. Office assisted in trying to locate the Air Pods with no success. This case has been referred to the Investigations Division.
