Attempt to Locate – Stolen Vehicle
Officers were notified of a stolen vehicle passing by the East Campus Drive License Plate Reader near the Brewster Building. They began searching the area and notified Provo Police. Provo Police located the stolen vehicle near the Baymont Inn and arrested several individuals.

Lost Property
An officer took a phone report about lost keys that were discovered during an audit. The officer documented the lost property report and provided the complainant with a case number for reference.

Criminal Mischief
BYU PD officers received a delayed report about a BYU student driving around campus with friends while they threw cheese on people's cars. The driver of the vehicle was contacted and warned about potential criminal consequences should the behavior continue. The driver advised that it would not happen again.

Theft
BYU Police were dispatched to a vehicle burglary in Lot 45. The reporting party had parked their car and accidentally left the window down with a purse inside. When they returned to the vehicle, the purse was missing. An officer gathered the details and noted the items as stolen.

Lost Property
The Complainant called BYU PD to report that they could not find their laptop. An officer reviewed security footage to assist them in finding the property. Later, the individual reported that they had located the laptop, and that police assistance was no longer needed.

Unsecured Door
An officer was dispatched to the ROTC at the request of the complainant, who was unable to release the latch on the east side door. When officers arrived, the complainant had already left, and they were able to release the door latch and secure the door.
