Public Peace
The officer responded to a noise complaint reported to Housing and Residence Life (HR). Upon arrival, the officer did not observe significant noise coming from the apartment. Contact was made with the residents, and they were informed of the complaint. As the officer was leaving, the Resident Assistant (RA) approached and stated they would handle the matter moving forward.

Carbon Monoxide – Alarm
An officer responded to a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm at Wymount Terrace 8E. The residents, who had recently moved in, reported that they had installed a window-mounted AC unit. The Provo Fire Department arrived and detected a CO level of 225 ppm. Fire personnel removed the Plexiglass that had been used to seal around the AC unit and ventilated the apartment by opening windows. BYU Maintenance also responded and monitored the air quality. Once the apartment was properly ventilated and the CO readings were clear and it was safe to return to the apartment.

Welfare Check
An officer was dispatched to Brigham Square for a report of an older gentleman walking around confused. The officer responded to the area and was unable to locate the individual.

Accident – Hit and Run
A caller reported to BYU Police that their vehicle had been damaged while parked in Lot 19 between 11:45 AM and 11:55 AM. They noticed damage to the right rear quarter panel and observed that the vehicle next to them was no longer present. A report was taken and a case number provided. Upon reviewing video surveillance, it was determined that the damage was already present when the vehicle arrived. The officer informed the driver, who acknowledged the damage may have occurred elsewhere.

Sick Person
An officer and BYUEMS were dispatched to John Hall for a report of a female not feeling well. BYUEMS arrived and began evaluating the female. The officer arrived and BYUEMS stated they did not require police assistance for the call.

Allergic Reaction – Child
A 9-month-old female experienced a possible allergic reaction after consuming eggs, as reported by her mother. The child developed a rash on her face and upper extremities shortly after eating. The mother administered Benadryl prior to the arrival of emergency services. Provo Fire and Police responded to the scene to assist. The child was stable at the time of assessment, and the mother was advised to follow up with their pediatrician for further evaluation and care.

Accident
An officer responded to take a delayed report of a minor traffic collision that occurred in Parking Lot #50 on the BYU campus. The complainant stated that after parking his work truck, his wife arrived to pick him up and accidentally struck the front passenger side of a BYU box truck with their personal vehicle. The complainant notified his immediate supervisor, who advised him to contact Campus Police. A report was filed, and photographs of the damage were submitted. The incident resulted in minor damage and no injuries were reported.

Trauma
An officer responded to the Richards Building (RB) regarding a student visiting campus who injured their ankle while playing volleyball. Provo Fire assessed the injury and determined it appeared to be a soft tissue injury. The group's supervisor was advised to monitor the ankle for swelling and to take the student to urgent care if significant swelling developed.

Lost Property
A caller reported being unable to locate their wallet after attending a church meeting on BYU campus Sunday morning. The caller is not a BYU student and had already checked the areas they visited. They had not yet contacted Lost and Found and were advised to do so at the Ellsworth Building and WSC. Instructions were also provided for canceling their bank card. An officer reviewed surveillance footage from the area during the approximate time the caller was present, but nothing of note has been observed at this time.
