Mental Subject 09/04/22
Medical at the WSC Ballroom. Adult male suffering from Asperger’s and Down syndrome experienced an episode. Provo and BYU EMS treated the patient and transported him to UVRMC.
Medical 09/04/22
Officers were dispatched to the MARB in reference to a subject in the building that appeared to be having mental problems. The subject was located outside and after a short conversation was given a ride to Orem where he lives.

Medical 09/04/22
An elderly female was walking across Heritage Way to the sidewalk when she tripped on the curb and fell to the ground. The fall resulted in a dislocated shoulder and possibly broken arm. BYU EMS and Provo Medics responded to the scene where they treated the female and transported her to UVRMC.
Suspicious 09/04/22
While patrolling the area of Outdoors Unlimited, Officer observed a suspicious male walking back and forth in front of the doors. Before the officer could make contact, the male left the area and could not be located.
Medical 09/03/22
A police officer and BYU EMS responded to Heritage Halls on a medical. The patient was treated and released.
Animal Problem 09/03/22
Officers were dispatched to the Missionary Training Center, on a report of bats on the fifth floor of the building. The officers checked the building and found no bats.
Threatening 09/03/22
An officer took a report concerning e-mails received by faculty. The emails appear to have been sent by a mental health consumer. Contact was made with the author of the concerning e-mails and he was blocked by the recipients.
Theft 09/02/22
An officer was dispatched on a theft from the Heritage Central Mailroom. The complainant stated a laptop arrived at the Heritage Central Building on 09/01/22. When the complainant tried to retrieve the package, he was informed by Heritage employees the package was not there. The complainant stated he wanted to report the laptop as missing or stolen. The case will be referred to the Investigations Division for follow-up.
Property Damage 09/02/22
An officer was asked to investigate damaged property in parking Lot 39. A BYU worker left a dolly loaded with some boxes on the side walk while moving a truck into a parking stall. The dolly rolled into a parked BYU owned vehicle causing a small dent on the rear right fender. The officer was unable to locate the driver of the vehicle. Photos and the BYU employee information was obtained on scene.
