Welfare Check
Officers made contact with the individual and found the person in good physical health. Officers advised the person to contact those who were concerned for their welfare.

Trespassing
Report of juveniles trespassing in a construction site. An officer arrived and searched the area but did not locate the juveniles. Officers performed extra patrols in the area.

Abandoned Vehicle
An officer responded to an abandoned vehicle located in Lot 13. The officer located the vehicle and discovered it was a Hertz rental car. The vehicle was not listed as stolen. Arrangements have been made for Hertz to pick up their vehicle.

Stalking
An officer took a report of a delayed stalking/harassment. The complainant reported that a certain person will not leave them alone. Officers made contact with the subject and told them to stop attempting to contact the complainant.

Citizen Contact
Two people were having an argument that ended with one pushing the other. The two quickly separated and nothing further took place. In speaking with both parties, they advised they did not want to pursue any legal action against one another. They both recognized that they could have handled the situation better.

Lost Property
An officer was asked to investigate a lost laptop computer from the Clyde Building. The officer meet with the complainant and obtained a written statement of the incident.

Theft, Catalytic Converter
Officer responded to a theft, upon arrival, the officer met with the victim and gathered detailed information about the theft.

Suspicious
Officer responded to a suspicious person at the BYU Department of Physics & Astronomy. Officers patrolled; however, the suspect could not be located. No further suspicious activity was reported.

Y-Medical
A police officer and BYU EMS were dispatched to the Cougar Eat concerning a food service worker who had oil splashed in their eye. BYU EMS treated and released the patient on scene.

Extortion
Officer responded to an extortion call from a student who had their Instagram account hacked and was being threatened on social media. The complainant requested contacted via a phone call to gather detailed information. This case has been referred to investigations for follow-up.
