Hazardous Condition
A concerned person reported a large tree branch had broken off from a tree and landed at the exit of Wyview to Freedom Blvd. An officer checked on the branch and moved it enough that vehicles could still exit Wyview. The Grounds department was notified.

Disorderly
An officer responded to Helaman Halls to the report of students having a snowball fight inside of Stover and Taylor Halls. The officer arrived and did extra patrol in the area. There were no students found throwing snowballs in the area. The officer made phone contact with the RA, who stated she did not have any information regarding the identity of the students involved in the snowball fight.

Medical
A student slipped and fell down the steps on the south side of the Wilkinson Center leading to Lot 4. BYU EMS evaluated the student for back and tailbone pain. The student left with a friend who took them home. BYU Risk Management was notified of the incident.

Property Damage
An officer responded to Wymount Terrace to the report of a tree branch that had fallen on a motorcycle. The tree branch fell due to snowfall. BYU Grounds responded and cut the tree branch so it could be moved off the motorcycle. The motorcycle owner was contacted. A passenger vehicle was parked next to the motorcycle and some of the branches made contact with the vehicle. Due to the lack of lighting and snow on the vehicle, the owner could not detect if there was damage to the vehicle. The owner will contact BYU police if damage is found.

Accident – Property Damage
A BYU employee called and stated he ran over a parking lot sign in Lot 20. He stated the sign was laying on the ground near the Convention Center. The employee had left the area and called to report the incident by phone. The officer responded and moved the sign out of the parking lot and placed an orange traffic cone over the post base. A work order to fix the sign was requested.

Medical
BYU PD officers and BYU EMS personnel were dispatched to the Richards Building on a report of an adult female student who had passed out and potentially had a seizure but was now conscious and alert. EMS treated the student and determined no transport was necessary. BYU PD officers and EMS personnel cleared the call.
