Disturbance
The BYU police responded to a report of a group of boys at Helaman Halls harassing vehicles as they entered and exited the complex. The caller reported that at one point, three boys uninvitedly entered her car and began harassing her, refusing to leave. Officers arrived within minutes, but the group had already dispersed. Surveillance footage of the group has been collected and will be included in the report. Currently, no suspects have been identified.

Suspicious Person
A campus security officer responded to West Campus, Room 1056, following a student's call reporting an unfamiliar Asian man in the area. The student expressed concern about her art projects and requested a security check. The officer patrolled the building and conducted extra patrols, speaking with other students working nearby who confirmed seeing the man, but noted he had already left. The officer subsequently contacted the reporting student to provide an update.

Medical
A male BYU staff member was injured while operating a table saw at the library. Provo Fire/EMS, BYU EMS, and BYU police responded to the scene. The patient received first aid on-site and was transported to Utah Valley Hospital for further medical treatment due to an injury to his hand and fingers.

Suspicious
On November 19, 2025, between 2200 and 2300 hours, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious individual on West Campus. A male of Asian descent was seen disrupting students; he had approached a female student, asking for a ride to his apartment, which she declined. The male then left the area. The students escorted each other to their vehicles and departed. The complainant requested police awareness of the incident.

Duress Alarm
A report was received regarding a panic alarm at the WSC. Officers responded to the scene and found everything was in order. Staff were contacted, and the alarm was inspected but did not require resetting. A service request was submitted by security dispatch due to multiple false alarms at the location.

Suspicious Person
Police responded to the JFSB after a female reported a disruptive male during her class. Although the suspect was not present at the scene, officers identified him through earlier surveillance footage. The female intends to press charges against him for UCA 76-8-705, Willful interference with lawful activities of students. A security sergeant requested a 10-day temporary ban for the individual, pending his location. The case has been referred to BYU Security for a permanent ban. A little later in the day, a BYU officer encountered the same suspect in a separate incident, cited him, and served him notice of the 10-day temporary ban.

Suspicious
A male suspect was reported making girls feel uncomfortable at an outdoor event in the JFSB courtyard. His description matched that of a previous case where he had entered a classroom during class and caused discomfort. The suspect was located, identified as the same individual, and detained. A BYU security Sergeant requested that he be trespassed from campus for 10 days, while the previous officer cited and released him for interfering with students’ lawful activities. The suspect was ultimately cited, trespassed, and given a ride to the bus stop off campus.
