Duress – Alarm
Officers responded to a duress alarm at 2060 LSB. Upon arrival, they discovered that ward members working at the clerk’s desk had accidentally activated the duress button. After resetting the alarm and providing a brief explanation about the button and its purpose, the officers cleared the scene.

Tobacco Problem
A law enforcement officer responded to HR 8 following a report of a possible vaping tobacco violation by a student residing there. After speaking with the student, who denied any tobacco possession or use on campus, the officer found no evidence to warrant further action. The student was advised of the relevant laws and housing rules regarding tobacco use.

Medical
During a church meeting at the EB, a woman unexpectedly passed out. She mentioned a history of fainting, describing it as a family trait, though the cause is unknown. BYU police and Provo fire responded to assist. After assessment and release, friends were present to drive her home and agreed to monitor her throughout the day for any further issues.
