Welfare Check
A report of a vehicle with snow on it at the trailhead generated a call for a welfare check. The vehicle in question had a male passenger inside. He was contacted and report he couldn't drive down due to the roads being too slick. Police called Ground to plow and sand the road. The person was transient and living in his vehicle at that location to use the restroom facilities.

Suspicious
Officers responded on a report of a suspicious looking individual. The area was checked, and the individual was gone.

Accident PD
Officer responded to a report of a traffic accident in a parking lot. A vehicle parking made contact with a parked vehicle. The officer was unable to make contact with the owner of the parked vehicle so a note was left on the vehicle. The information of the other driver and vehicle was obtained to complete this report and exchange information.

Accident PD
Single vehicle accident on 450 East and Phillips Lane. V-1 was driving west on Phillips Ln. when it lost control on the icy road, slid across the intersection, and hit the light post on the south/west side of the intersection.

Mental Subject
A mental subject called to report a problem at the Y-Trailhead. No problem was found and this subject calls frequently. The BYU Police Victim Advocate is following up on this case.

Suspicious
Officer responded on the area of May Hall were a suspicious male offered the complainant a beer. Upon arrival, officers patrolled the area in an attempt to locate the vehicle. Vehicle was not located; this vehicle has been flagged.

Suspicious
Officer responded to a call from a suspicious person at the Harold B. Lee Library. Upon arrival, the officer contacted the subjects who were climbing the pyramid skylights in front of the library. Officer had a brief conversation with the subjects. No further action was taken.

Warrant Service
Officer responded to the listed location to investigate a possible theft. As a result, the theft suspect was booked into jail on a warrant and trespassed from campus. Case cleared by arrest.

Y Medical

Officers responded to parking Lot #59, south of the Life Science Building, when a student slipped on the ice near the north of the parking area, possibly injuring his knee. Officers transporting the patient to Intermountain Health Care.
