Trespassing
A BYU police officer observed a male opening the fencing around the abandoned apartments on 900 N 900 E and then stepping into the fencing, trespassing onto the property. The officer made contact with the individual and identified them. It was discovered during this contact that the individual suffers from mental health issues. Provo officers arrived on the scene. The officers determined not to cite the individual, but he was warned not to trespass onto the property further. The individual was allowed to leave the area with no further enforcement action being taken.
Agency Assist
An officer with Provo PD contacted a BYU officer. The Provo officer informed the BYU officer of found property that was turned in to the Provo Police Department by the Provo City Recreational Center. The found property included multiple BYU IDs. The BYU officer met with the Provo officer and took custody of the found BYU IDs.

Citizen Contact
A concerned student in the cougar eat reported an unknown male was getting phone numbers from students in the food court and creating mutual accounts using the information. An officer contacted and identified the male who was on the autistic spectrum and cautioned him in his actions.
Criminal Mischief
An officer was dispatched to document and have some graffiti cleaned up in the outside stairwell of the Conference Center. The officer found the graffiti had already been cleaned up. This report was generated to document the presence of the graffiti.
Animal Problem
A deer with a leg injury was reported to police. The deer was able to move swift enough not to allow police to get close and determine extent of the injury.
Medical
Officer responded to the Joseph F. Smith building on a medical. A female student was walking down the outside stairs, to the basement, and fell. The patient hurt her ankle and BYU EMS checked on her. The officer cleared prior to EMS clearing.
Suspicious
Officers were dispatched to the area of the Wells ROTC Building on the report of a suspicious male. The male was contacted in the Grounds Department area and found to be an employee working for the Grounds Department.
