Unknown Problem A female student at Heritage Halls reported numbness in her hands and feet and was found lying on her bathroom floor. BYU police, along with Provo Fire Department and BYU EMS, responded to the scene. An EKG revealed irregular heart arrhythmia, leading to her transportation to the hospital for further evaluation.
Sick Person A female adult at the WSC reported an injured ankle. BYU EMS responded and provided clearance before the officer arrived.
Found Person A complainant observed a 3-year-old child running toward the road from an apartment complex with no parents in sight. The child was unable to speak. The father was later found searching for the child, and they were safely reunited.
Seizures BYU EMS, Provo Fire, and BYU Police responded to a medical emergency at the Harold B. Lee Library, where they found a student security officer unconscious but breathing with stable vital signs. Despite efforts to rouse the patient, they were unsuccessful, and the patient's mother was notified for further information. The patient, who had a history of similar episodes, was transported to Utah Valley Hospital for additional care.
Medical BYU officers and Provo Fire responded to the SFH after a patient hit their nose jumping into the foam pit. The patient was assessed by Provo Fire and later went to an instacare by private vehicle for further evaluation.
