Welfare Check A welfare check was initiated by BYU Police Dispatch on Y Mountain trail. The subject was found not on BYU property but further up the mountain near Rock Canyon. The case was referred to Provo PD, which coordinated with its mountain rescue team to handle the situation.
Suspicious An officer was dispatched to investigate a suspicious bag at the north dock near the Richards building. While en route, the reporting party called back to report that the bag's owner had returned to retrieve it. No further police action was required.
Disturbance An officer responded to a noise complaint near Wymount Drive, where the reporting party noted that four to five vehicles were parked near the laundry area, making noise with backup beepers. The complainant believed this violated the noise ordinance and requested a check. Upon arrival, the officers found the vehicles had already left, and the complainant did not request further contact.
