Unconscious A report was received of an unconscious person at the Smith Field House. Officer responded along with Provo Fire/EMS. Upon arrival, the patient was found to be conscious and alert, complaining of dizziness. After evaluation, the patient was released on the scene.
Medical A medical incident occurred at the Creamery on 9th, prompting a response from BYU police and the Provo Fire Department. Dispatch reported that a patron was having a seizure near the registers. Upon arrival, officers and medical personnel found the individual conscious, breathing, and alert. The patient was escorted to an ambulance for assessment by the fire department. After being medically cleared, the patient was released into the care of a family member present at the scene.
Found Property MTC Security found a driver's license and student ID card near the MTC. The cards were handed over to BYU Police to help locate the student. The student was successfully identified and the items were returned.
Found Property A police officer responded to Lot 52 after a toy airsoft gun was found in a storm drain. The officer successfully retrieved the item, identified it as a toy, and documented it with photographs. The toy was then placed in an evidence bag and handed over to the detectives for further investigation.
Hazardous Condition During a recent storm, a tree was uprooted and laying on the ground blocking the entrance to the parking lot. The tree was cleared from the roadway, and grounds were notified. They advised dispatch that they would handle the removal of the tree the following morning.
