Accident A BYU-owned vehicle backed into a parked car in parking lot 39 on the west side of the RB building. The owner of the other vehicle was identified and provided with BYU Risk Management contact information to facilitate the repair process.
Theft A theft delay has been reported involving cash taken from a wallet left inside a cubby on the 2nd floor of the SFH gym. No suspects have been identified at this time. An officer will review surveillance footage to assist in locating the suspect. The investigation remains ongoing.
Theft A complainant reported a stolen bike, which was parked at the bike racks on the southeast corner of LES. No suspect information is available at this time. The case has been referred to Investigations for further follow-up.
Theft A BYU officer responded by phone to a delayed bicycle theft report. The complainant, uncertain of where he left the bike, believed it might have been on the south side of the WSC, but lacked a photo or serial number. The officer reviewed nearby surveillance footage from the relevant time frame and checked the impound yard, but no matching bike was found.
Medical A BYU officer responded to the RB regarding a patient who dove into the pool and hit their nose with their knee. The patient was checked by BYU EMS and Provo Fire, and although not transported, they continued to experience minor nosebleed. The patient was advised to use a private vehicle to seek further care if bleeding persisted after leaving the RB.
