Welfare Check
An associate professor requested a welfare check on a student at Heritage Halls on BYU campus. Officers responded to the scene and contacted the student, who explained the reason for missing classes. The officers provided the student with available resources and concluded the call. The complainant was informed of the outcome.

Theft
A report came in of missing money from a wallet. The case was linked to a previous theft case from the Fieldhouse weight room.

Found Property
A student ID was found at the JFSB, and officers responded to retrieve it. Shortly thereafter, the student contacted the department to report the loss of her ID. The found ID was later returned to the student.

Citizen Contact
A report was received regarding a stolen backpack at the Smith Field House student gym. The victim explained that their backpack was taken while they were working out. Using security camera footage, officers identified the individual who left with the backpack. A gym employee recognized the person as a frequent visitor. Contact was made with the suspect, who then realized they had taken the wrong backpack by mistake. The suspect met officers at the Field House and returned the backpack, confirming it was the same brand and color as their own, which they had mistaken for theirs due to their jacket. The backpack was recovered and returned to its owner with all contents intact.
