Robbery Alarm
Officers responded to a duress alarm at the Creamery. The push was accidental and the alarm was reset.

Suspicious
A BYU Marriott Center Event Staff employee reported a male student was trying to enter the men's basketball game improperly. Event Staff request the male be banned from the event if he is located. The student was not located.

Animal Problem
An officer was dispatched to the Foreign Language Student Residence regarding an animal problem, where reports indicated an animal was stuck on the roof. Upon arrival, the officer heard sounds consistent with a raccoon trapped in the attic space. Dispatch contacted housing authorities, who confirmed they would address the issue on the following Monday.

Fire – Gas Smell
A police officer responded to Heritage 02 after a student reported smelling gas in her apartment, which caused her to feel ill. The Provo Fire Department was called to investigate, and they checked the apartment thoroughly. After their inspection, no issues or gas leaks were detected.

Littering
An officer observed a male individual on South Campus Drive near the Grant Building throw a cigarette butt into the roadway after smoking. The officer approached and issued a citation for littering. The male appeared intoxicated and stated he was leaving campus on foot to go home.

Suspicious Person
A police officer was dispatched to the Tanner Building in response to a report of a suspicious male who had been lingering in the area. The male had already left by the time the officer arrived.
