Trespassing An Amazon driver attempted to deliver a package to the MTC delivery gate but was turned away due to Sunday delivery restrictions. Undeterred, the driver circumvented security by passing the guards at the main gate and entering the grounds. Once located, BYU officers escorted him off the property. As a result, MTC has decided to place a ban on the individual.
Alarm A door alarm and a beam alarm were triggered in the tunnel area of the Eyring Science Center, specifically at door S003, the outside tunnel entrance on the southeast side of the building. Dispatch received a photo of an individual seen entering through this door. Officers responded by checking the tunnels and monitoring the area near the entrances but were unable to locate anyone in the tunnels or identify the person in the photo.
Accident A BYU officer responded to Lot 57 following a reported traffic accident. The incident occurred when a black truck was backing into a parking spot simultaneously as a white sedan was backing out from a parking stall. The white sedan sustained damage to its passenger side rear bumper, while the black truck had damage to its passenger side rear panel. Both drivers exchanged information and agreed to email their statements to the officer.
