Medical An officer and Provo Paramedics were dispatched to J Hall for a sick individual. Paramedics evaluated the male, who requested to be transported to the ER by his friends. Paramedics helped the individual out to a friend's car.
Duress Alarm An officer responded to a duress alarm at the WSC. Upon arrival, they contacted those inside and confirmed everyone was safe. The alarm was located and reset.
Duress Alarm A duress alarm was triggered at the Former President's House. Security technicians are aware of the problem and are actively working to resolve it. It is noted that the front desk duress buttons were not pressed and did not register as activated during the incident.
Accident Hit and run accident in parking lot 37. Video cameras were checked but the area could not be seen on camera. No further suspect vehicle information.
Duress Alarm A law enforcement officer responded to the MTC in response to a duress alarm. It was determined that an employee working in the new information area accidentally triggered the alarm by pushing it under the desk without understanding its purpose. The officer quickly reset the alarm, and dispatch confirmed that the alarm had been cleared.
CO Alarm An officer and Provo Fire were dispatched to Wyview Park for a carbon monoxide alarm. Security was able to contact the resident, who stated that no one was inside the apartment. Provo Fire was able to get a positive reading for carbon monoxide once housing maintenance arrived with a key. Provo Fire asked Enbridge to come out and take readings to figure out what caused the problem.
Bat Bite An officer was dispatched to the Utah Valley Hospital ER for a report of a delayed bat bite. The officer met with the BYU employee, who stated that they had been bit in the morning while they were trying to get bats out of the Hinckley Center. The employee said that the bat was long gone because he had let it go. The employee stated that they were already taking care of the incident report to Risk Management.
