Information
The BYU Police Department received a report of a possible stolen electric scooter from the Heritage 13 bike rack. However, upon contacting the complainant, officers learned that the scooter was not stolen; she had found it at the Heritage 15 bike rack instead.

Chest Pain
A BYU medical team assisted a student experiencing abdominal pain and vomiting. After an examination, the student declined transportation to the hospital but was advised to seek further evaluation at the Student Health Building. He had a friend prepared to help him get there if needed.

Sick Person
A BYU police officer responded to a call about a medical issue at the MOA. Upon arrival, they found a female student experiencing dizziness after donating blood. BYU EMS arrived, conducted their assessment, and released the patient according to protocol.

Citizen Contact
A week ago, a traffic accident occurred on campus near the RB. The complainant inquired whether surveillance cameras in the area might have recorded the incident. It was confirmed that there are no cameras at that location. The complainant chose not to file a report, and officers explained that they do not determine fault in traffic accidents.

Suspicious
A male student at BYU was reported to have a revolver-style pistol in his waistband. Upon contact, police determined it was a starting pistol used for a track event, which was secured in a holster and posed no threat. The individual was allowed to continue working the event, and no further action was taken.

Medical
BYU EMS and a BYU police officer responded to the SNLB after a patient injured their hand with a chisel. The patient requested a bandage and a check-up. EMS evaluated the injury, applied a bandage, and cleared the patient to return to work in the wood shop.

CO Alarm
BYU Police, Provo Fire & Medics, and BYU EMS responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at a residence. The CO levels inside the home measured between 68-74 parts per million and were traced to a mechanical issue with the oven. Maintenance was dispatched to locate and repair the problem. The apartment was ventilated, and the resident was permitted to return home. She reported a mild headache but no other symptoms; she was checked out by EMS and released on scene. Housing and risk management were also notified of the incident.

Welfare Check
A student used the Safe Walk app after taking a test and heading home, but the app disconnected, and she became unreachable. Later, she was contacted just outside her apartment complex while walking home. She apologized, explaining her phone had entered time limit mode, shutting off all apps, and she wasn't sure how to exit it. Her friend nearby offered to help her fix the issue to prevent future occurrences.
