Accident The BYU Police Department responded to a non-reportable accident in the West View Building parking lot. Officers arrived to find a BYU box truck that had taken a turn too wide and collided with a parked vehicle. Photos were taken, and the vehicle owner was contacted.
Accident A BYU owned vehicle struck a parked car in the Richards Building parking lot. The owner of the second vehicle was contacted and advised of the accident.
Welfare Check A police officer observed a male student sleeping on the grass on the west side of the Smith Field House. The officer approached to check on his well-being, and the student explained he had fallen asleep while studying.
Suspicious A BYU Police Officer took a phone report from a student in on-campus housing who reported an unknown male knocked on her door in the late evening. No crime occurred, information only.
Accident Officers responded to a traffic accident in lot #39 where a driver backing out of a parking space struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. Information was exchanged between the parties, a case number was issued, and photos were added to the case file.
