Duress Alarm
A duress alarm was reported at the WSC enrollment office. An officer responded and found no suspicious activity in the area. Staff were contacted to check the alarms, and none required resetting. Security was notified of a potential issue with the alarm system. No further action was needed at this time.

Medical
EMS and police responded to assist a female who fell on a trail near the Y trailhead. Provo Fire Department located her in the recreational area below university property and helped her descend due to a leg injury. She was then transported to the hospital. No law enforcement actions were necessary.

Accident
The complainant reported a minor vehicle collision that occurred three days ago on 04/03/2026 in a parking lot. She stated that while driving down an aisle, a parked car pulled out in front of her, resulting in a minor, non-reportable collision. Both parties exchanged information and left the scene without involving the police. The complainant is now requesting a report due to a dispute over fault.

Medical
A student at Smithfield House was reported to be experiencing a seizure, prompting a response from BYU Police and EMS. Upon arrival, a roommate clarified that the person had not had a seizure but had passed out due to exhaustion and underlying medical conditions. The student was assessed by BYU EMS and later released into the care of the roommate.

Nuisance
Four individuals were reported to be performing tricks on scooters near Maeser Hill. Officers responded, checked the area on foot, but did not contact anyone riding scooters. Officers remained in the area for extra patrol.

Medical
A BYU officer, BYU EMS, and Provo Fire responded to an incident at the Heritage Volleyball Court. After assessing the patient, Provo Fire transported them to UVH for further treatment.
