Sexual Assault A sexual assault was reported to police and is currently being investigated. The crime did occur on the BYU campus. The complainant is also actively working with the victim advocate and the Title IV office.
Suspicious Circumstance A report was received regarding a pair of gray sweatpants with blood on them found outside the south side of the Wilkinson Student Center. The caller was concerned that someone may have been injured. The pants were located and found to have blood drops all over, though not enough to suggest a severe injury. The surrounding area was checked, and no additional blood or signs of injury were found in the parking lot or on the sidewalks. The bloodied pants were later disposed of to prevent further concern.
Duress Alarm Officers responded to a duress alarm at the Old Presidents House reception area. Both alarms had not been activated, and a request for a new work order was made. This has been a recurring, routine alarm over the past few weeks.
Suspicious A police officer responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle with blue under lights at the roundabout near the Wilkinson Student Center. Upon arrival, the vehicle was no longer present, and the officer did not observe it during their approach.
