Duress Alarm
An officer was dispatched to the WSC for a duress alarm. Dispatch stated that business appeared to be normal on cameras. The officer arrived and confirmed that one of the employees had accidentally pressed the alarm. The officer reset the alarm.

Fire – Smoke Smell
A third-party report of smoke rising from a woodchip pile behind and north of the Ellsworth building prompted an officer response. Upon arrival, the officer observed steam, not smoke, rising from the pile, likely due to the cool, rainy weather conditions. Provo Fire, already in the vicinity, responded and stirred the woodchips. Facilities management for the Ellsworth building was notified. No fire was observed, and temperature checks indicated safe levels. No danger was detected, and Provo Fire cleared the scene without incident. There was no indication of further suspicious activity.
