Accident – Hit-Run
An officer responded to a delayed hit-and-run accident that occurred on the southeast side of BYU lot 49. A parked vehicle sustained damage. No injuries were reported. BYU Police are reviewing video surveillance footage.

Information
An individual was reported by campus security for posting non-threatening signs expressing personal opinions near the Museum of Art, Abraham Smoot building, and the Wilkinson Student Center quad. The individual was warned for trespassing and the incident will be referred to the banning committee and BYU Security as a civil matter. The Provo Deputy City Attorney was consulted by phone regarding the incident.

Fire Alarm
The officer responded to Wymount Terrace for a fire alarm. There was no fire or smoke, as the alarm had been tripped by a cooking mishap. The residents had opened windows and the door to air out the apartment. The officer silenced the alarm. The alarm tech was contacted.

Welfare Check
Officers responded to Heritage Halls and the J. Reuben Clark Building on a report of a student who had not cleared their digital safewalk. Before officers located the student, dispatch advised they had made contact and confirmed the individual was safe.
