Criminal Mischief
Police contacted a vehicle owner via phone after their car was egged last night at Helaman Halls, resulting in chipped paint on the hood. Photos provided by the victim were added to the case file. Surveillance footage captured the incident, and investigators identified a suspect vehicle and license plate. Two suspects have been identified and will be charged with criminal mischief.

Criminal Mischief
A BYU employee discovered vandalism at the women's bathroom door at the Y Trailhead, where an individual had thrown eggs. The incident caused no permanent damage. Authorities have identified possible suspects in connection with the act.

Suspicious
BYU officers responded to a report of a suspicious male working on a bicycle outside Building 16A in the Wymount complex. The caller suspected the individual might be stealing bike parts. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect anywhere in the vicinity.

Property Damage
Employees cleaning the first-floor men's bathroom discovered a suspicious substance falling from the bottom of the toilet. The substance was inadvertently sucked into the cleaning machine, spreading throughout the bathroom and causing staining on the tile floor. Photos were taken of the substance and the damage both before and after cleanup. The origin and nature of the substance remain unknown, but there is no indication of criminal activity.

Found Property
BYU Police were contacted by a Provo Police officer who received four BYU student ID cards from a gas station clerk. The clerk explained that people sometimes turn in found cards, which they hold onto until they accumulate a few. The officer handed the cards over to BYU Police, who noted that all four were expired and inactive, and were later disposed of in the shred bin.

Property Damage
A complainant reported to BYU Police that his car had been keyed. He had parked near the Richards Building for about an hour, and upon returning, he discovered scratches on the side of his vehicle. No suspect information is available at this time.
