Medical An officer responded to a medical call on the 2nd floor of the Life Sciences Building, arriving with Provo Fire Department and BYU EMS. The patient was experiencing dizziness and blurred vision. During the assessment, it was found that her blood sugar level was elevated at 375. She received treatment on scene and was released into the care of her daughter.
Accident – Hit and Run An officer responded to a hit-and-run incident at Lot 39, located between the SAB and the Richards Building (RB). The victim, who had parked there earlier after weight training at the SAB, returned to find damage on the right side of his rear bumper. Authorities are reviewing nearby security camera footage to identify the suspect responsible for the damage.
Medical An officer and Provo Paramedics responded to the Brimhall Building following a report of a female who had collapsed in the hallway. Upon arrival, paramedics assessed her condition and determined she had experienced a seizure. The female requested to be transported to Utah Valley Hospital for further evaluation and care.
Information A third-party report was received regarding a potential violation of a civil stalking injunction. Officers responded to the BYU campus Richards Building, where they contacted the petitioner, who reported seeing the respondent in the same building. A search of the area was conducted on foot and via patrol vehicle, but the respondent was not located. A license plate reader identified a vehicle registered to the respondent in the vicinity during the relevant time frame, leading officers to believe the respondent had left campus. There was no ongoing threat at this time, and the petitioner was escorted to their vehicle with an immediate safety plan in place. The case remains under investigation.
Suspicious An officer responded to the Crabtree building following a report of a college-aged, white male running southbound from the location, waving a large white flag and yelling. Upon arrival, the officer found the area clear, with no one present.
