Animal Problem
An officer responded to Lot 49 after a concerned individual reported a dog inside a parked truck with no one around. Upon checking, the officer found the dog to be calm and not in distress, with both windows rolled down about a third of the way. Dispatch was unable to reach the truck's owner. A few minutes later, the officer returned to find the truck had left the scene.

Alarm – Carbon Monoxide
An officer and Provo Fire responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at Wymount Terrace. Firefighters detected elevated CO levels inside the apartment, prompting the Wymount Terrace manager to request housing maintenance to inspect the water heater, which showed the highest CO levels. Provo Fire advised that the water heater be repaired or replaced, and BYU fire technicians were notified of the situation.

Welfare Check
Officers responded to the Heritage Halls Central Building after a report of a male walking around and talking incoherently. The complainant requested a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers observed the individual displaying signs of mental illness. The male declined police assistance and stated he intended to leave campus.

Unconscious
Officers responded to a report of an unconscious female at the Richards Building North Soccer Field. Upon arrival, the female had regained consciousness and was talking with paramedics, who had just arrived. Her friends, who called 911, stated she has a heart condition that can cause loss of consciousness. Provo Fire contacted her father and advised that she be transported by ambulance; however, she refused ambulance transport. Instead, she was taken by her friend, with Provo Fire following to the hospital in case of a medical emergency. She was assessed on scene for over 30 minutes, during which her elevated heart rate remained unchanged.
