Property Damage
A BYU officer was dispatched to Parking Lot 52 after a tree fell overnight and landed on three vehicles. The officer contacted Grounds personnel, who responded to the scene and removed the tree from the damaged cars. The officer then notified each vehicle owner and provided them with a case number. Risk Management was also contacted regarding the incident.

Drugs
A delayed report was received regarding a suspicious odor detected the previous night at a Heritage dorm. The officer initially contacted FSY staff by phone, who advised that they had smelled what they believed to be a controlled substance in a dorm area the night before. Officers subsequently contacted staff and an FSY attendee to investigate the matter. The case is currently under investigation.

Welfare Check
Officers responded to HR #9 to perform a welfare check on a girl who appeared unresponsive or dazed. Upon arrival, no individuals matching the description were in the area. The officers conducted a thorough search inside Building 9 and patrolled the perimeter. Dispatch reviewed nearby surveillance cameras but did not identify anyone matching the description. The officer remained in the area for approximately one hour after clearing the call.

Welfare Check
A welfare check was requested for a juvenile male attending FSY after he reportedly sent concerning texts to a friend regarding his mental health. Officers located the subject on campus and confirmed he was in a stable mental state. The subject was then released to FSY staff, who later released him to a family member.

Carbon Monoxide Alarm
An officer was dispatched to Wymount Terrace in response to a possible Carbon Monoxide alarm. Upon arrival, the officer discovered an outdated alarm in the apartment emitting a malfunction alert. The officer noted that BYU Housing had previously been informed that these old units were to have been removed. The relevant authorities at BYU Housing were subsequently notified of the alarm.

Disturbance
A complaint was received regarding a group of individuals riding bicycles through the first floor of the JFSB. Officers located the group on South Campus Drive. The group was identified as a youth activity from a nearby ward. The leaders were contacted, and the group was asked to leave campus.

Traffic Stop
Officer observed a vehicle traveling northbound on University Ave from Cougar Blvd with a defective taillight and mismatched rear and front plates. The vehicle was stopped, and it was found that the front plate belonged to the previous owner. The driver admitted to not having insurance for the past month and disclosed that he had an active arrest warrant out of Provo. The officer issued a citation for no insurance, issued a warning regarding the taillight and the warrant.
