DUI
A police officer observed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of Cougar Blvd and State Street and initiated a traffic stop. Upon contact, the officer noticed open beer cans, bloodshot and glassy eyes, slurred speech, and the smell of alcohol on the driver's breath. The driver refused to perform standardized field sobriety tests and was subsequently placed under arrest. At the Utah County Jail, the driver submitted bodily fluid tests and was booked on charges of DUI and other offenses.

Missing Person
An officer responded to Heritage 4 to assist a family in locating their son after EFY concluded. When they arrived to pick him up curbside, the son was not present. The EFY counselor confirmed he had checked out the student and had not seen him since. The officer aided the father in accessing various locations around Heritage Halls, and the father then went to the WSC to search for his son. Later, the father called back to report that his son believed they were meeting near Pizza Brick Oven, where he was found.

Animal Problem
An officer responded to reports of an unattended, non-aggressive dog wandering near the construction site at Brigham Square. Due to prior commitments, officers were delayed in checking the area. The dog was not found during the initial search but was later reported to be back in the same vicinity.

Trespassing
Officers responded to the HBLL after reports of an individual who had been previously banned from BYU but was seen leaving the building. Although they couldn't locate the suspect on campus, surveillance footage confirmed his presence. The suspect was contacted by phone, admitted to being on campus, and agreed to meet with officers. During the meeting, he was issued a citation for criminal trespassing in Provo Justice Court. Notably, this individual had been cited for the same offense within the past three months.
