Welfare Check
BYU Police responded to Lot 46 on West Campus to conduct a welfare check after a passerby reported a male aggressively knocking on and pounding a parked vehicle’s windows, attempting to gain access. The complainant noted the windows were heavily tinted, preventing visibility inside the car. Upon arrival, officers found the vehicle had already left the area and conducted additional patrols nearby.

Trespassing
Officers responded to a report of three juveniles riding scooters inside the East Campus Building. The juveniles were located on the east side after leaving the building, where they explained they were visiting their grandmother nearby. They admitted to entering through an open north-side door and accessing the Creamery store area but did not steal anything. A small bag of chips was taken from an unknown cabinet and consumed. The juveniles were released to their parents. The building was inspected, revealing three unsecured exterior doors, which were later secured.
