BYU police and EMS responded to the Life Sciences Building for a report of a student who had fainted during an anatomy class. Provo emergency personnel were initially dispatched but canceled after the student declined medical transport. The student was evaluated on scene by BYU EMS and, after being cleared, returned to class.

Abandonded 911 Call
BYU Police responded to the Smith Field House area for an abandoned 911 call made from a cellphone. Before officers arrived, dispatch contacted the caller, who confirmed the call was accidental.

Animal Problem
Dispatch received a report of a golden retriever barking at individuals outside Heritage 9. Officers located the dog, which would not allow anyone to approach and subsequently ran across 900 East into a nearby neighborhood. The dog was later reunited with its owner, who had been searching for it.
