Animal Problem
A grounds maintenance worker attempted to rescue ducklings trapped in a storm drain but was unable to do so due to the drain's depth and safety concerns. The worker would have required a two-story ladder to reach the ducks, and they had also entered a pipe, making the ducks temporarily out of view. For safety reasons, entry into the storm drain was not permitted.

Accident
A two-vehicle collision occurred in Lot 50 adjacent to the University Press building when a FedEx truck backing into a dock struck a parked passenger vehicle. There were no injuries, and a report was filed.

Theft
The officer responded via telephone to a theft report at the Intramural Fields during a sports camp, occurring between 1400 and 1600 hours. The stolen items include an iPhone, which is listed in NCIC, and a Utah driver's license. No camera footage is available of the incident.

Medical
An adult female was found lying on the sidewalk along 900 E on the east side of Heritage Halls. BYU police responded as Provo Police were unavailable. En route, it was indicated she may have been involved in a scooter accident. Provo EMS was summoned and determined that she had crashed her scooter, sustaining minor injuries. She was treated at the scene and released to her family. It is believed she was riding northbound on 900 E along the shoulder, attempting to transition onto the sidewalk at a driveway entrance to Heritage Halls. During this maneuver, she struck the concrete lip at the driveway and fell.

Juvenile Problem
Officers responded to a juvenile disturbance at Kimball Tower involving tennis balls being dropped down a stairwell. Juveniles were not located, and no further action was taken.

Juvenile Problem
A report was received that juveniles were on campus with a go-kart. Officers located the juveniles near Heritage Halls, identified the individual responsible, and advised them to remove the go-kart from campus and refrain from bringing it back. The juvenile pushed the go-kart off campus and left the area with friends.
