Abandoned 911 – Call Officer responded to Heritage Halls #7 following a report of an abandoned 911 call. Despite the dispatcher’s efforts to reach the caller via call and text, no response was received. The officer thoroughly checked the area but found no signs of any suspicious activity or issues.
Medical A female approached an officer near the JKB, reporting feeling dizzy and experiencing vision loss. BYUEMS responded, evaluated her condition, and determined she did not need hospital transportation. The emergency team stayed with her until she felt well enough to walk and get some food.
Sick Person The officer responded to the WSC for a medical assist. When they arrived, EMS indicated that the patient was okay and there was no need for law enforcement.
Welfare Check Officer responded to a welfare check on a safe walk at the LSB but lost contact en route. Once connection was reestablished, the subject was successfully contacted.
Suspicious A police officer was dispatched to West Campus (WC) regarding a suspicious person who claimed they intended to sleep in the building. Upon arrival, camera footage confirmed the individual had already left prior to law enforcement's arrival. The officers then cleared the building, finding only students working inside.
