An officer responded to Heritage 11 for a medical call. The call involved an FSY counselor who was in her apartment, felt dizzy, and fell against the wall, hitting her head. She stated that she has a history of fainting. Provo Fire and EMS arrived, treating the patient. They did not find anything concerning. She remained in her apartment with her roommate.

Waterflow – Alarm
BYU Police were dispatched to the B66 building for a water flow alarm. Before the police arrived on scene, a BYU technician advised that there was no emergency and that the alarm was a false alarm.

Lost Property
An officer responded to Cougar Field regarding a complaint of a lost Nike backpack. The complainant was attending an FSY night activity with 600 youth on Cougar Field. He was taking pictures and had placed his backpack behind him. When he turned around to retrieve it, the backpack was missing. The backpack was lost on Wednesday, June 18th, sometime between 2010 and 2015 hours. The officer reviewed video footage but was unable to determine who took the backpack. The complainant reported the missing item to the FSY lost and found. Later that same day, the reporting party called back and informed him that he had located his backpack.

Theft
BYU Police were dispatched to Wyview Park regarding a delayed e-bike theft. The owner reported that his lock had been cut, and his e-bike was missing. An officer collected the relevant information and obtained photos of the bike. The owner did not know the serial number of the e-bike, so it will not be listed in NCIC at this time. This information will be forwarded to BYU Investigations for follow-up.

Medical
An officer responded to Heritage Halls to assist an FSY counselor experiencing an allergic reaction to his prescription medication. The patient was having difficulty breathing upon the officer's arrival. Provo Fire and EMS arrived and treated the patient, administering an EpiPen injection and starting an IV. The patient was then transported by ambulance to Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.

Found Property
The officer responded to the SFH regarding a found cellphone. The phone had been turned in by staff over the past two days. Attempts were made to identify the owner, but only the first name "Finley" was known. The phone will be turned over to the lost and found at the Wilkinson Center at the end of the shift.

Fire – Gas Smell
BYU Police and Provo Fire responded to a report that a tenant could smell the odor of natural gas in his apartment. The officer asked dispatch to notify BYU Risk Management and BYU Housing. Firefighters measured the air in the apartment for toxic gases. Their readings showed zero parts per million for any toxic substances. The firefighters informed the tenant that his apartment was safe to enter.

Medical
An officer was dispatched to the courtyard of the Joseph F. Smith Building, where a For the Strength of Youth (FSY) dance was being held. Upon arrival, he assisted Provo Fire in speaking with a young woman who had twisted her ankle. Provo Fire personnel wrapped her ankle, and both the patient and the FSY attendees declined transportation to a hospital or other facility.
