Alarm
An officer responded to Lavell Edwards Stadium to secure the south scoreboard hatch. The door was found dismantled and tied open for repairs. A work order was requested to ensure the repair is completed.

Nuisance
Dispatch received a report that a vehicle was doing donuts in Lot 47 near the stadium. Officers checked the area but did not locate any vehicles driving recklessly.

Door Alarm
Officers responded to a door alarm at Heritage 14. A door had been propped open with a rock. The officer removed the rock, secured the door, and cleared the alarm.

Juvenile Problem
Officers returned to Heritage 14 shortly after responding to a door alarm, where a rock had been used to prop the same door open. An FSY supervisor believed that some participants had left the building but could not identify who they were. Dispatch observed several boys exiting while covering their faces. The supervisor could not identify them from the images. Officers conducted extra patrols but did not locate the individuals.

Juvenile Problem
Sports camp supervisors reported that one attendee photographed another while the victim was in a bathroom stall. The image did not show any private areas, but it was shared in a group text. The victim’s father declined criminal action. The attendee who took the photo was sent home, and event supervisors stated they would notify the parents of those who received the image.

Suspicious
Enrollment Services received five calls from a man asking unusual and accusatory questions about pornography at BYU. He made no threats but sounded like he may have been impaired. He was referred to the General Counsel’s Office, which ultimately blocked his number. The report was documented for future reference.

Found Person
Maintenance workers at Wyview found two unsupervised children who asked for help locating their mother. Officers responded, and the children were safely reunited with their parent.

Fire Alarm
An officer responded to a fire alarm and found building maintenance staff testing alarms on the first floor. First responders were canceled, and security dispatch was notified.

Door Alarm
An officer responded to a door alarm and found BYU employees working in the area. Nothing suspicious was occurring.

Hazardous Conditions
Officers responded to Campus Drive near the FPH after a tree fell over and blocked both lanes. Police assisted with traffic control while BYU Grounds cleared the roadway.

Lockout
Officers were dispatched to a student lockout at the Kimball Tower. The student was not at the entrance upon arrival. After contacting them by phone, officers learned another student had already let them inside.
