Found Property
An officer filed a found property report after a backpack was discovered under the FSY tent near the Wilkinson Student Center. The bag, containing several notebooks including an FSY book, suggested it belonged to an FSY participant. The officer placed the backpack in the Lost and Found at the Wilkinson Center.

Traffic Offense
A police officer witnessed a vehicle run a red light at the intersection of 900 N 900 E. The driver admitted to both running the light and texting while driving. Upon further investigation, it was revealed that the adult driver only had a learner's permit and lacked a licensed adult passenger in the vehicle. The driver was cited for running the red light, using a mobile device while driving, and violating the terms of the learner's permit.

Citizen Contact
A police officer responded to a report of a missing juvenile from FSY, initially called in by counselors. Dispatch informed the officer that an FSY representative had contacted the juvenile's mother, who confirmed she had picked up her son early and had texted the FSY office about checking him out. The FSY representative clarified that this was not the standard check-out procedure, and the missing person report was due to miscommunication. Since the juvenile was with his mother and in no danger, the officer cleared the call without taking further action.

Unconscious
An officer was dispatched to the Marriott Center to assist Provo Fire with a teenage female who had fainted. Upon arrival, the girl explained that she had collapsed while sitting outside the building and attributed it to not eating or drinking that day. She also mentioned fainting the previous week under similar circumstances. The people on scene contacted the girl's mother, who was informed of the situation. Elizabeth's mother confirmed that she did not want her daughter to go to the hospital but would ensure a follow-up with their primary care physician.

Medical
An officer responded to a medical assist call at the JFSB courtyard, where a 17-year-old female had passed out. When medics arrived, she was conscious and breathing, with stable vitals. Her parents were notified, and she remained in the care of FSY staff. No further action was required.
