Traffic Offense A police officer observed a vehicle traveling on West Campus Drive at a high rate of speed. The officer initiated a traffic stop and the driver was cited.
Suspicious BYU Police responded to a report of a suspicious male seen near the Fine Arts Building construction site. An employee noted the individual appearing to carry a toolbox to his car before leaving. Upon officers' arrival, the suspect had already left the area approximately 30 minutes prior. It is currently unclear if any tools were stolen. The case will be updated if missing tools are reported once employees return to work next week.
Traffic Offense Police officers responded to Lot 41 after receiving a report of a traffic offense involving two vehicles pulling a homemade cart or sled. Upon arriving, the officers located the vehicles, identified the occupants, and interviewed all involved parties, including a witness. After assessing the situation, the officers issued warning notices for the violations and the information will be reviewed by housing.
