Medical
BYU officers responded to Lot 48 on a reported medical incident. Upon arrival, officers learned that a member of the Stadium of Fire stage crew had accidentally run over their toe with a pallet jack while working. BYU EMS provided on-scene treatment, including cleaning and bandaging the injured toe. The patient was subsequently transported by private vehicle to Utah Valley Hospital for further evaluation and care.

Suspicious Activity
An officer responded to the Wilkinson Student Center regarding a report of four suspicious males observed in an FSY-restricted terrace area. The complainant stated the men, described as casually dressed and appearing to be between their 30s and 50s, were last seen entering the Cougar Eat. The officer searched the Cougar Eat and Terrace areas but was unable to locate anyone matching the description. Attempts to contact the complainant for additional information were unsuccessful. A review of security camera footage showed four males walking together wearing casual clothing and displaying what appeared to be BYU identification. No suspicious or criminal activity was observed.

Hit and Run Traffic Accident
An officer investigated a delayed hit-and-run accident reported in Lot 37 that occurred between 1200 and 1415 hours on 07/01/2026. The complainant discovered damage to the rear passenger-side quarter panel of their vehicle, including scratches and a broken panel, after returning to their vehicle. No note or suspect information was located. The complainant provided vehicle and insurance information, as well as photographs of the damage, which were uploaded to the case file. The incident remains under investigation with no suspect information available at this time.

 Fire Alarm
An officer responded to Wymount for a reported heat alarm activation in an attic. Upon arrival, the officer initially heard the alarm, which was subsequently silenced after being acknowledged and reset by an alarm technician already on scene. No smoke, fire, or other signs of danger were observed. The outdoor temperature was approximately 80°F. The fire alarm panel, located in Laundry 4, was checked and found to be operating normally.

Theft
A BYU officer responded to the Tanner Building regarding a possible theft of a plastic food container. The complainant reported leaving a small plastic container filled with brownies on a hallway desk with a note stating, “Free Brownies.” Upon returning, the container was missing. The complainant advised that the container had sentimental value and requested its return. The officer reviewed available camera coverage but found no cameras monitoring the area where the container had been left. No suspect information was developed.

Medical Allergic Reaction
A BYU officer and Provo Paramedics responded to the Heritage Central Building for a reported allergic reaction involving a female. Prior to their arrival, the female had self-administered an EpiPen. In accordance with FSY policies and procedures, she was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Suspicious Activity
An officer responded to a complaint of unknown males repeatedly knocking on a resident’s door and running away. The complainant requested assistance in stopping the behavior. The officer checked the area and contacted several males nearby; however, no individuals responsible for the activity were identified or located. The complainant was advised to contact police again if the behavior continued. No further calls or reports were received.
