Traffic Stop Failure to Stop
Officers attempted a traffic stop on an unregistered electric motorcycle observed performing wheelies on Canyon Road near 2230 North. The rider failed to stop and fled the area. Officers maintained visual contact for a short time but lost sight of the motorcycle near Piute Drive north of Rock Canyon. Provo officers later located the motorcycle near the Riverwoods area; however, they also lost sight of it shortly thereafter. The motorcycle was not located, and no further information was obtained.

Information
An officer was requested to contact a Resident Assistant from Helaman Halls regarding information about a potential off-campus fight club. The RA reported that another RA had overheard students discussing the possibility of a fight club occurring off campus. No additional details were available, including the location, participants, or timing of any such activity. Due to the limited information provided, no further action was taken.

 Found Property
An officer met with a complainant who reported finding a wallet in the roadway. While the officer was on scene, the owner of the wallet arrived after tracking an Apple device located inside the wallet. The officer verified the owner's identity and confirmed ownership of the property. The wallet was subsequently returned to the owner without incident.

Hazardous Conditions
An officer responded to a report of traffic cones blocking a lane on Cougar Boulevard. Upon arrival, the officer found a BYU tree crew conducting work and utilizing traffic cones to close the right-hand lane. The officer observed that the cone placement provided limited advance warnings to motorists traveling around the curve and down the hill toward the work area. To improve traffic safety and visibility, the cones were repositioned farther back, allowing drivers to see the lane closure earlier and react appropriately before reaching the bend in the roadway.

Fire Alarm
An officer responded to a fire alarm activation at the Missionary Training Center. Upon arrival, no smoke, fire, or flames were observed; however, the area appeared hazy and humid. Security personnel reported that a steam iron was being used in the area and that the excessive steam likely activated the fire alarm. The officer confirmed that the condition was caused by steam only and that there was no fire-related hazard. The alarm was silenced, and a fire technician responded to reset the alarm system.
