Trespassing
BYU Dispatch received reports of two males observed on security cameras walking through Lavell Edwards Stadium after hours. It was noted that at least one individual was armed with a sword. Provo and BYU police responded promptly to the scene, conducted a search, and located both males. They safely disarmed the individuals; the juvenile was then contacted by an officer, who notified his parent and subsequently released him to their custody. The adult male was cited for trespassing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, then released. The juvenile was referred to the 4th District Juvenile Court for trespassing and curfew violations.

Juvenile Problem
Police officers observed a group of three males transporting an office chair stolen from the loading docks of the JFSB. The juveniles were attempting to ride the chair down the ramp into Lot 14. Since the youths were out past Provo City curfew, officers contacted their parents, who arrived and took custody of them.

Unsecure Premise
Officers responded to a trespassing incident involving two juveniles at LVES. Upon inspection, they discovered that the south side north elevator was left unlocked, granting access to the press boxes on all floors. Additionally, two of the four doors leading from the stands to the press boxes were found unlocked. After addressing the trespassing, an officer secured the accessible doors; however, without an elevator key, they were unable to lock the elevator access itself.

Information
A BYU Police officer responded to a report of a possibly abandoned vehicle in Lot 60. Upon contact with the registered owner, it was confirmed that the vehicle was being used by his child attending FSY on BYU campus. The owner assured us that the vehicle would be moved within 24 hours.

Fire Alarm
BYU Police responded to a fire alarm activation in HR. The tenants reported no actions that could have triggered the alarm, and no flames, smoke, or other potential causes were evident. An officer silenced the alarm and contacted BYU Electricians to evaluate and address the malfunctioning system.
