Lost Property
The BYU Police Department received a report from a representative of the Chemistry/Biochemistry Department located in the Benson Building. Following a comprehensive key audit, the department discovered that 89 master keys were unaccounted for. The reporting party stated that there is no indication of theft; rather, the keys are believed to have not been returned by former student employees.

Accident
An officer responded to the south side of Hinckley Hall regarding a non-reportable accident involving a BYU-owned vehicle and a parked vehicle located in a construction zone. Upon arrival, the officer documented the incident. Both the driver of the BYU vehicle and the owner of the parked vehicle exchanged information. No injuries were reported, and no formal report was required.

Hit and Run – Accident
The BYU Police Department received a report of a hit-and-run accident that occurred in Lot 2, located in front of the Museum of Art (MOA). The complainant, who was no longer on campus, requested that an officer contact her by phone. The case is under investigation.

Information
An officer responded by phone to an online report regarding an unknown individual using their finger to write in the dust on a vehicle. The complainant indicated that the markings would not easily buff out, however, caused no permanent damage. After reviewing available video surveillance, the officer was unable to identify anyone approaching the vehicle.

Citizen Contact
An officer responded to Cannon Center for a citizen assist. The company Bare Metal was on scene ready to clean the cooking vents. They requested access to the roof area to complete the job.
