Theft The complainant reported leaving his electric scooter in the bike rack south of the library. When he returned, the scooter was missing. Officers checked nearby cameras but found no footage of the theft. The owner could not provide a serial number.
Theft A wallet was reported missing after possibly being left at the Creamery on Ninth. Video review showed the owner took the wallet with her when she left. It may have been lost or stolen elsewhere. No additional information is available for follow‑up.
Sick Person Officers and BYUEMS responded to the Music Building for a juvenile feeling sick. BYUEMS evaluated the juvenile, contacted the parents, and waited with the juvenile until the mother arrived.
Juvenile Problem FSY participants were briefly stuck in an elevator at Heritage Halls. They had exited and left the area before officers arrived. Technicians determined the elevator stopped because the group jumped simultaneously, causing the malfunction. The elevator was repaired and returned to service.
Fraud Officers made phone contact with a victim who had received fraudulent digital checks and sent money through Apple Pay before realizing the checks were fake. The investigation is ongoing with limited suspect information.
Fire Alarm Officers and Provo Fire responded to a gas smell in the Cannon Center kitchen. Two employees reported feeling unwell; one went home, and the other was evaluated and cleared by Fire personnel. Gas sensors showed no hazardous readings.
Carbon Monoxide Alarm A CO alarm activated in an apartment occupied by a young couple and their 4‑day‑old baby. The family evacuated and was checked by medics, who found no symptoms or concerns.
