Door Alarm An officer responded to a tunnel alarm in the JSFB parking garage. Workers seen on camera were confirmed to be BYU affiliates who had forgotten to notify dispatch. Their information was documented.
Security Alarm Officers responded to a beam alarm near the Talmage Building. Contract workers accidentally set it off by using a different door to access a restroom.
Juvenile Problem An FSY participant was hit in the face by another participant’s water bottle. The bottle holder was being reckless and did not see the other participant. Parents declined charges, as it was deemed accidental. FSY administrators took over handling the situation.
Door Alarm Officers responded to a violated door alarm in a basement at Helaman Halls. All exterior doors were locked and secure. No issues were found in any of the accessible areas.
Sick Person Officers and Provo Fire responded to an 18‑year‑old FSY participant who passed out due to a known heart condition. Medics determined she was stable, and she chose to remain at the activity.
