Medical BYU Police and BYU EMS responded to a call at the Wilkinson Student Center (WSC) regarding a juvenile experiencing a mild allergic reaction. BYU EMS evaluated the student on scene and remained with her until her parents arrived.
Information FSY staff reported inappropriate behavior by several juvenile male participants. A BYU Officer spoke with staff and determined that while the behavior was crude, it did not constitute criminal activity. The officer advised the program to address the matter according to their internal policies and procedures.
Medical BYU EMS and a police officer responded to a medical call on the east side of Heritage Building 06. A patient sustained a cut on his arm while playing football with friends. EMS evaluated and treated the injury on scene.
Information A police officer responded to a report of a possible sex offense that occurred earlier in the day at the Wilkinson Student Center (WSC) during lunch. An FSY participant reported that another participant had touched her buttocks. With parental permission, the officer interviewed both juveniles and obtained written statements. Based on the information gathered, the incident appeared to be accidental.
Citizen Contact An FSY Counselor reported that a male in his 20s riding a bicycle approached several FSY groups in front of the ASB, yelling profanity and derogatory remarks about Joseph Smith and the Mormon faith. The individual quickly left the area, heading northwest. An officer searched the area and dispatchers reviewed nearby security footage, but the subject was not located.
Medical BYU EMS responded to a medical call at Chipman Hall in Helaman Halls for a 14-year-old FSY participant experiencing an anxiety attack. EMS evaluated the patient on scene and released them without further medical treatment.
