Welfare Check Officers responded to a report of a possibly suicidal individual. The person had recently experienced a difficult breakup. After speaking with officers, they chose to self‑admit to the hospital to speak with crisis staff. Officers transported them to the hospital.
Duress Alarm Officers responded to a duress alarm. They contacted a bishop who uses the office for interviews. He reported no issues and did not believe he had accidentally activated the alarm. Officers reset the alarm.
Trespassing During extra patrol at the SFH, officers found an individual playing basketball without building access. The person stated they entered through the tunnel after church and knew they should not be inside. The individual was identified and issued a trespass warning before leaving the area.
Unsecure Premises Officers found the west gate to the RB North Field open. No one was on the field. The lock could not be located to secure the gate. Dispatch advised Security was aware of the missing lock and planned to replace it Monday.
Welfare Check Officers conducted a welfare check at a Wyview apartment after a caller reported seeing a child with possible bruising. Officers confirmed the family was safe and found no cause for concern or further investigation.
Breathing Problem Officers responded to the MTC for a medical assist. Provo Fire evaluated the patient, who was released without transport.
