Two individuals matching the caller's description were identified and spoken to; they explained they were joking around and not engaged in any malicious or inappropriate behavior. No lewdness, nudity, or criminal activity was observed.
Fire – Alarm The BYU Police Department responded to a fire alarm activation at LaVell Edwards Stadium, with the alert indicating it originated from room W197. Upon arrival, officers found ongoing construction work near the room. Investigation revealed that concrete dust from the construction had triggered the alarm. There was no smoke or fire present, and no danger was identified. Officers silenced the alarm and remained on scene until fire technicians arrived to reset it.
Citizen Contact An officer responded to a lockout at the Richards Building (RB) after a student reported losing their wedding ring. The student had removed the ring and placed it on a bench before swimming. After changing, the student realized the ring was missing but was unable to re-enter the pool area due to it being locked for cleaning. The officer unlocked the door, and the student successfully located and retrieved their ring.
