Criminal Mischief
An officer responded to a complaint of graffiti in the men's restroom at the Y-Trailed. Upon arrival, the officer conducted a thorough check of the restroom but was unable to locate any visible graffiti. The officer then contacted the complainant, who identified herself as a supervisor with the BYU grounds crew. She explained that her team had cleaned the restroom earlier that morning, at 0800 hours, and had removed the marker writing from the stall, making the graffiti no longer visible. However, the employee who initially reported the issue had taken a photograph of the graffiti prior to its removal.

Robbery – Alarm
An officer was dispatched to the Creamery on Ninth in response to a reported robbery alarm originating from the grill area. Dispatch relayed that security cameras showed no signs of unusual activity and that everything appeared to be business as usual. Upon arrival, the officer established a perimeter around the building and began attempting to contact employees. During this process, one employee exited the building and confirmed that everything was fine.

Medical
BYU Police and BYU EMS responded to the CANC for a report of a juvenile who had sustained a minor head injury. EMS evaluated the patient at the scene, and after assessing the injury, the juvenile declined transport to the hospital and further medical attention. The patient was then released back to FSY.

Suspicious
A police officer was dispatched to Budge Hall after the security camera system recorded three males in the main entryway, with one individual obstructing the camera’s view. The officer contacted a BYU Housing employee on site, who identified the individuals as BYU Housing staff. The officer contacted the three males, who explained they were playing a prank on a friend monitoring the cameras and were not involved in any suspicious or harmful activity.

Medical
An officer responded to a medical call at the northwest corner of the football stadium, where a female reported feeling sick. The officer found her across the street, with Provo medics providing aid. The incident was handled by Provo authorities and was not related to the BYU campus.

Juvenile Problem
An officer was dispatched to Heritage Halls, building 13, after an FSY counselor reported six high school students wandering near the building. The counselor asked them to leave, confirming they were not FSY participants and shouldn’t be near campus activities. The officer patrolled the area and verified the students had left.
